Annotations:
For 3rd source Summary: Gray's article argues that Socrates' philosophy remains relevant in the modern world, as it facilitates critical thinking, ethical decision-making, and self-examination. He states that Socrates encouraged people to challenge assumptions and search for the truth. Aspects of Socrates' philosophy are used worldwide today in education, law, science, psychology and ethics.
Annotation: Bradley Gray is a philosophy student who is very knowledgeable in the subject. He has written many articles in his time and has gained many insights into philosophy and is a reliable source.
This article will be excellent for my virtual museum, as it explains the concept of how Socrates contributed to modern ethics and morality thoroughly and goes into deeper, more meaningful points. I will be able to use the information in this article to write more information about Socrates.
For 4th Source Summary: This is a primary source written by Plato on the Apology of Socrates. It tells of the speech that Socrates gave to the Athenian court from Plato's viewpoint. This speech contains many useful points and elaborates on Socrates' philosophy.
Annotation: Plato was a follower of Socrates and became his disciple. Plato soon became one of the world's most renowned philosophers and passed both Socrates' and his own teachings to his students, which makes Plato a very reliable source.
This article is excellent for my virtual museum as I will be able to incorporate this into a scene that explains the speech leading up to Socrates' death, and because this is a primary source, it will hold more factual value.
For 2nd Source
Summary: Beaulier's 3D model is a photogrammetry of a bust of Socrates from the British Museum. It is a highly detailed and impressive photogrammetry, which means that this is a primary source as it is sourced straight from the British Museum.
Annotation: Beaulier is a renowned 3D model provider, having provided many photogrammetry models to the public. Photogrammetry means that these models are completely accurate and therefore hold great factual value
This 3D model will be important for my virtual museum as it will be the centrepiece of the experience, as it is a primary source of Socrates himself. And as it is a primary source, it holds greater factual value and authenticity, allowing the users to have a completely accurate experience.
